When I connect my ipod I can not see the ipod songs info on the command screen, I can only see it in the instrument cluster and I can only control it with the steering contols. Is there a way that I can see the songs info in the command screen? I saw a thread here about an adapter from "cablejive" that also charges the ipod. I can't find it anymore. Does anybody has a solution? I have a '09 c350. I also have a ipod nano 5g.

i also have a 2009 mb with ipod integration, but i don't think you can view it on the command screen, i think that's something they didnt add until the 2010's.
as for the charging adapter for the ipod, it's called the "Scosche passport" charging adapter. i got one for my new ipod nano and it's been charging beautifully the last few months. it only costed like $20, so it was cheap too.
