Cargo options

I searched some older posts and saw that many were unhappy with the quality of the OEM mats -

Im more concerned with the trunk area as Id like to add a cargo box. I see MB makes an OEM version but I believe it has to work in tandem with a cargo area tray.

Anyone have this and can comment - or anyone have alternatives?

TIA

I started out by purchasing two Mercedes collapsible cargo boxes...about $17 each and a great value. Each one is exactly the size of two full paper grocery bags. They do not slide around on the trunk mat. They are easy to carry into the house, and fold up for storage when not needed. These work so well, that I am surprised they do not seem more popular.

But, more recently, I bought the WeatherTech cargo area mat. The MB cargo boxes still don't slide, but I wanted to take extra care to preserve the longevity of the cargo mat, although I did not see any deterioration yet.

hey thanks for the input - has weathertech addressed the issue with rear folding seats? I thought the mat wouldnt fit properly with the folding seats -

Sorry, I can't address that as I do not have rear folding seats with my P1 car.

I searched around for a few weeks and finally decided on the WeatherTech mat and have been extremely satisfied with it. It does have a raised lip all the way around but due the the flexilbe nature of the material, wouldn't pose a problem if you wanted to lay something on top of it once you fold your seats down.
