So I did a little burn out and the dash lit up with a break error. it says

BRAKE
ebr, abs, and esp inoperative
SEE OWNER MANUAL

Anyone else have this issue on on 08 300?

sound like your ESP overheated the brakes.

Sorry for the delay, you sure seem to be right Blaze! I tried turning the car on and off a couple times and the error stayed. I ended up starting again an hour or so later and actually drive it and the error went away in seconds.

This can also happen in the winter when it's too cold out, condensation can freeze on the pads and cause them to not work. I've had that happen on my sister's car before.

Same thing happened to me when I went to the track and drove my car hard. Took it to the dealer, they reset the computer and the problem never came back, until the time I went back to the track that is. heheheh.
