C300 4matic transmission whine the fix is in!
If you have the same issue I have had with my 2008 C300 4matic (and I'm pretty sure you have as all the cars they tested had it) The fix is now available.
My problem was right from day 1.
Decelerating and at the speeds 125, 105, 65 and 35 Kmhr there was a loud whining/whistling noise from the transmission area.
The first attempts to repair were replacing the front diff, then the transmission to no avail.
Eventually they said they could not fix it, then after a few stern letters back and forth to MB Canada and six months later they have resolved the issue.
This time they replaced the floor shifter with an "updated" part, the shifter linkage rod and made some adjustments, the noise is now gone.
So if you have the issue, get to your dealer and tell them there is a fix
