Really? Lights up instantly for me. Did you install aftermarket lights in there previously? Wonder if the prongs were stretched out and it's just not making a good connection.

I haven't tried these on the sidemarkers, but these are the same size as the iJDMToy ones and someone reported that it doesn't fit. I have a couple test LEDs of a different design they sent me for the sidemarkers that I'll be trying out this weekend.

I think we get it right this time, looks white after install, compared with previous GB LEDs, side by side, this one does not change color but other turn purple within minute. Thanks Mike.

Nope, I had the stock bulbs in there previously. It was just a matter of jiggling them around and then they would flicker on and off and then after another moment, they would stay on.

I have never worked with LEDs so I asumed that was normal. lol

i bought 4 sets...the eye lids, the side bumper lights and the license plates all fit fine...the license plate ones are a SUPER tight fit like less then a mm of space, hopefully they wont burn up the lens but they all look pretty great especially going from stock. Thanks Mike.

In the original gorup buy thread, Mike posted a picture of the LEDs in the license plate light area. IMO, these LEDs are a bit too bright for that application

That's good to hear! Someone had reported the iJDMToy ones were too long for the sidemarkers and these are the same dimensions as their so didn't want to advertise that they would fit or not. I was going to play with the sidemarkers this weekend, but if yours fits, that's great news for **** people like me who have to match front colors perfectly lol

Hmm, I wonder if yours are making good connection to the socket. I know mine had no issue. Can you check the one that was claimed wasn't working and see how loose it was? Is it pushed all the way in? Someone already claimed that pull it out very slightly and works, but I have mine pushed all the way in. Did you have any other aftermarket LEDs installed that might have stretched the prongs? I know there was one that was a very tight fit.

More info the better as I'm relaying all this back with the manufacturer engineer. If these are 95-99% perfect, want to dial in and fine tune them to make up the few remaing percentage.

Crap, just found out the sponsorship pricing structure....$200 for basic per month. There's no way I'd be able to generate that much in extra profit sales per month to make that amount. Oh well, so much for the idea of bringing these LEDs here on a regular continuous basis. After I run out of my GB spares, if there's another large enough demand, then we'll see what we can do to organize something new. Maybe incorporate the new LED turn signals I'm working with the manufacturer to make for us.

Yeah they do get hot and I was concerned about that too. Keep an eye on them, but I have them plugged in the license plates and that's sitting right directly on the plastic clear cap. I've been checking and no damage is caused there to the housing, so I guess even though it's hot, it's not hot enough to do damage/compromise the LED or the plastic housings

Do you think they can also make LED reverse lights? I desperately want them in ways you can't even imagine. Haha. Signals would be very nice too.

If housing is getting warm it sounds like a bad idea for our units. I hope it doesn't melt lol. I hope it doesn't ruin anything. These lights are a Pain in the #$*^ to take out and get in.

I just heard back from the engineer regarding the heat. He says that through their testing, although it does heat up, it does has not compromised the LED and if I do get reports of failure due to heat, send it back to them for them to analyze, but they're pretty damn confident that it shouldn't effect anything.

Here's a link to the DIY for eyelids. https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...elids-tb5.html

As regards to pricing, you can check page 5 on Mike's previous group buy thread here. https://mbworld.org/forums/group-pur...ication-5.html
where he wrote that for international pricing, you take the international shipping costs and apply it to this "White: 10.50 x (num of sets) + S&H + (4.9% + $0.30 USD PayPal Fees)"

In regards to warranty, I doubt they'd void it unless they found a problem that they can prove was caused by the eyelid bulbs themselves.

Err. Fog lights? What?

Picture Time (Keep in mind I have the "tint" Lamin-X over my headlights & foglights)!
Polarg M4 on left, White LED on right:

White LED Left, Blue LED Right (8500k lowbeams) & you can see my nice dent next to my hood emblem caused by a baseball that I can finally say is gone thanks to PDR!:

White LED Left, Blue Right, 7500k Fogs:

8000k LED Close-Up:

White LED Close-Up:

8000k LED with 8500k lows:

Just for reference, old photos, these don't have the LAMIN-X tint installed on headlights or fogs:
Polarg M4 with same 8500k low and 7500k fogs:

Polarg M4 with 8500k close up:

As you can see, the LED's appear just as bright, if not brighter than Polarg M4, but have a Lamin-X tint over them. I would not go back to polarg M4 after getting these LED's, especially for the price. Not to mention the pictures don't really do them justice.

After looking at the white LEDs for a few nights, I realize that when they are on at the same time as the stocks xenons, they look blue-ish in comparison. So the blue LEDs must look really blue, haha. just an observation
