Chrome around cupholder...
My dumb brother chipped it on accident and there in about the size of a thumbnail no white without chrome is there any way to get that fixed or to buy neww trim??

benz fixed mine under warranty...

dunno if yours is still in effect, but that's probably the best way to fix it.

I am getting ready to paint mine satin black along with the trim around the shift boot. I hate chrome in the interior. The sun rays bounce off of it and it annoys the he77 out of me.

They replaced mine too. I am very easy on my interior and mine started to peel. As long as you are under 50K miles- you should be fine.

Thanks for the FYI !!! Next time I'm in for a service I'll ask my SA for this favor. It does chip quite easily since I'm also very careful but I must've slammed my Starbucks coffee mug hard enough one morning !!!

Called up they said not a problem to hacve it replaced or fixed whichever they do UNDER WARRANTY =) perfect

my gf's car has this problem, its peeling bad! she has an extended bumpert to bumper warranty (not through MB). do you think they'd still honor it?

This is warrantied and has happened to a lot of people. Bring it in and they will fix it free of charge within 1 day.

mine was replaced as well, the peeling can be sharp as a razor. it cut me open a few times before i had it fixed.

Anyone have peeling on the black trim that holds the chrome cup holders?
My chrome trim on the cupholders is not perfect but even more noticeable is that the black plastic trim piece that contains the cupholder is peeling in several places... Anyone else have this? It is the black plastic that contains the Command knob and the cupholders. I've tried to find the part number and just replace it myself but cannot locate this part anywhere!!! Anyone else ever have this replaced? Know the part number?

Guess I'll check with the dealership to see if they will replace it under warranty.
