'Peeling' rubber lining

'Peeling' rubber lining
The rubber lining at the center console/screen is 'peeling' upwards slightly (see picture). If pressed down, it sticks for about 10 seconds and then starts to slowly peel off again.
Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, what glue (I assume the solution is some kind of glue) should I use?

What year is your car? I would suggest taking it the dealer and having them replace the part that is failing.
I don't think you would want to glue that part because I think it needs to separate if the head unit ever needs to be pulled out for any reason.

+1, that warping is due to heat and stretching. And that part is not meant to stick to the A/C ducts as they must be removed to remove the head unit. I would suggest bringing it to dealer if under warranty. Or if not, then glue is possible, but it would mean extra steps or complications if you want to do a command retrofit down the line.

just get some 3m office use double side tape and re-tape the rubber pad yourself..
mine had the same problem after I have UMI installed as the factory glue lost its stickyness after been removed..
all you need to do is remove the pad, clean the back of any glue residual and apply the double side tape around the edges..
mine has been sitting flush for the past yr and half w/o any problem..
