C300
Exhaust input please!!

Ok, so I have a 2008 c300 4 matic. I just have the magnaflow x-pipe installed today. Do any of you who have that installed here think it sounds like its kind of "chugging" along when your cruising under 2,000 rpm?

Well asides from, are any of you running aftermarket mufflers (magnaflow, etc.) i was looking for an option to add the dual tips to my car so i can use the c63 diffuser, but also add maybe a little deeper tone to the car.

Let me know what you guys think, i know that there it there meisterschaft exhaust but i think that's a little to pricey for me.

any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys.

You should hear this past 4k rpm (when driving) the xpipe kicks in and the sound is amazing!! I will have a video of me doing a ride by soon!

I think there is a break-in period for it (there shouldn't be but I feel like there is). When I first got it done I heard this same thing you are talking about. But now I love it, sounds stock under 2000k rpm (highway driving and slow city driving) then once above 2500k it sounds like a sexy beast. I love it. For more sound you could replace your OEM mufflers with less resistive ones such as the meisterschaft, or magnaflow.

i just just came home from getting mine installed. my friend and i were listening to it from inside the car, we like eh, it sounds almost the same but you dont really hear it until around 4k RPM. but when we listened to it outside there was a MAJOR difference. no chugging for me though knock on wood.
