Anyone knows if the chrome star on the trunk can be purchased to replace with a black one or would that be easier to just paint it myself?

I had mine painted matte black its just 3 little clips you pop it off but be careful don't scratch your paint!

Paint it yourself, but don't forget to remove all the chrome. Paint does not adhere well to chrome.

I took it to a body shop and they will order a new star and paint it in matte black for me. Do you guys think I need to paint the star on the front grille in matte black as well just to match the star at the back?
