Wheel Size Opinions, Please?
I finally bought the 810 AMG style wheels from PowerWheelsPro.
http://www.powerwheelspro.com/shop/p...products_id=47
What they had in this shipment wasn't exactly what I expected for size. I am starting from the OE staggered setup, but before this coming Fall, they only had:
8x17 ET44
So, one-half inch wider in front, and one-half inch narrower in rear. Narrower rear with 44 offset seems like its a wash for wheel to fender relationship. The 44 offset would have been great with a 7.5" front wheel, but the math seems to suggest it will be slightly further out. Anyone try this setup and have an opinion on how well this will work? 1010tire calculator shows my current tires will fit. So, tires remain staggered, but wheels are not.
Wheels arrive for install next week. If all goes as planned, pics to follow. Any thoughts now, please? I did search to see if this question had been asked before for these sizes.

Runnng 245s on the 8" rear won't look bad. Not too wide as to have that "folded over" look.
IMO, everything is fine and the wheels will look good. You've been patiently waiting for non-35mm offsets from them, so slap 'em on when they arrive and enjoy!

Thanks for the reassurance! I think the rears will be fine...I will be interested to see how the fronts look. I believe the wheels will be about 1/4" further out. I told the place which will install the wheels what is happening with size, and they agree with you as well.

Although running with "proper" offsets/widths are duly important, I think we, as enthusiasts, can sometimes go overboard with worry and forget that it takes 25.1mm to equal an inch. Going minus 10-15mm from stock is fine IMO.
Posted these pics a couple months ago after I put on the 19x8 ET48 OZs w/ 235/35 all around. I could probably slap on some small spacers front and rear and still be good, but again, too negligible for me to sweat it. The look of the wheels themselves will draw the eyes vs how far in/out they are.
