I thought I did. It's not that bad. The trickiest part was removing the trunk trim in order to access the housing for the bulbs. You have to get behind it so try to remove as much of the trunk lining as possible at the beginning.

Okay, folks, here's the DIY. I actually did it on my own before I found this DIY from the website I used to order them.

http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Mercedes-W2...-DIY-a/198.htm

My additional comments would be to have pliers. There are several anchors for the trunk pieces that snap together and it's much easier to squeeze those anchors and reverse feed them through the holes where they snap in.

Example, when you remove the chrome trunk trim, you should have pulled back as much of the trunk liner as possible so you can really get in behind there. Use pliers and detach as much of the trim as possible. Then on the outside, pull out and down to release it. If there's any resistance, STOP. Go back behind the liner and try to find an anchor you missed. If you release all of the anchors, it'll be easy and you won't risk scratching your car.

Once that is done, you have to also release the anchors for the black plastic part where the lights are housed. When its loose, pull it down and you should be able to pop out the old lights and pop in the new ones. Be careful with the snaps because one broke during my installation and I had to wait to get replacement. Also, keep some electrical tape handy in case the light isn't quite snug against the connector.

That is a different product and installation process is different. Please remove that link to not confuse people on my vendor thread as it is also a competitor product.

These are straight bulb replacement LEDs that are not as difficult to install. There are other DIYs posted, but for your eyebrows, you remove the twist dust cap, then pull out the socket which is pressure held. If you can't get a good grip with your fingers, needle nose pliers help. Do not pull by the wire, no matter how tempting it is as you run the risk of stripping the wire. Then you simply pull out the bulb and replace. I've included instructions that detail how to check for proper polarity. Also if you plug it in the wrong polarity too long, your ecu will shut power to the socket reading it as a dead bulb (as there's no need to power a dead bulb). Just simply power cycle your vehicle by turning the engine on and off to reset the socket.

As for the trunk light, all you need to do is pop a few pressure tabs holding the liner down as well as the screws on the center plastic tab. Then all you have to do is reach in from behind the liner (doesn't need to be fully off, just enough to reach your hand in), find the socket, twist it to unlock, and pull out the stock bulb. Then just replace it with my wedge LED, check polarity, and click it back on. You don't need to do any rewiring or anything on the outside.

I can say that the driver's side city light on a 2012 C300 sucks to get out. I'm struggling with it as we speak. Passenger side was easy, but there's no room to get your hands in there on the driver's side.

angled needle nose pliers should go a long ways towards helping.

How does the 8000k look with stock bi-xenons? I know the 5000k matches closer but I like the slightly blue tint, just wondering if it'll look too odd with xenons.

I actually have plenty of customers who prefer 8000k with stock xenons to give brows some contrast and not just one glob of white light.

Good I was hoping it would give a little disparity between the two sources. In that case I'll be ordering several sets later tonight. Thanks for the input!

Thanks for the great customer service, I really appreciate it. I attached 2 pictures to give you guys an idea of what the colors look like...

The first picture has what I believe to be 4200K from what AZNOptics told me. The best color to describe this is "minty green." It looks greener in person than in the picture.

The second picture has 2 different LEDs. The one on the left is 5000K but the older version (I think version 2.) It has a hint of violent/blue in it. The one on the right is version 3 I believe, and it's more of a ice/glacier white. That one is suppose to be 5000K too. I don't know why they are different colors even though they are suppose to be both 5000K. Maybe AZN Optics can answer that if you guys were curious?

4500K has some yellow injected in it to give it a paler white color. However, the eyebrow housing has a natural bluish tint built in and when you mix yellow with blue, you get green. The V2 5000K and V3 5000K should be the same as they're from the same CREE stock, just different die size. However, for the V2, how is the condition of the LED? I have a control unit from our old V2 and compared to the V3, looks the same when plugged in, so not sure if there was any damage that your V2 has?

Ooops I meant 4500K not 4200K.

I attached a pic of the V2 if you wanted to see it. No biggie. It doesn't look that good so I'm assuming there is damage to it. Good thing I got the gel version of the V3.

I couldn't upload this pic from my computer for some reason so I had to use a site to upload it. Sorry, it's super big.
