COMAND upgrade

my apologies if this has already been covered but...
Been reading the E class threads and read about the 2011 models getting the updated COMAND UI (3D maps and such). Apparently the 2010's might be able to get an update via DVD. Is there any news on this happening for the w204's? current and new ones. Thanks!

Personally I'm not any fan of these features, I have "3D" on two of our cars and always use the traditional view. Perhaps building graphics helps confirming your location in a strange city but you cannot make much use of it while driving.
