powering trunk subwoofer
hey guys, im trying to install an infinity basslink 200w subwoofer. i have the audio hookups all set, tapped into the rear door speakers, but i had a question about powering it.
I want to know if i can tap power from the rear fusebox instead of running a cable all the way to the battery, just to save myself the headache. the cable that came with my sub has a 25amp fuse built into it, and i was wondering if i could tap this cable into any of the fuses in the rear box, say a 30 amp fuse.I dont know much about electrical work so if theres another fuse i could tap into please let me know, or even if theres any way i can tap straight into the power source attaching to the fusebox, if thats possible.
please let me know, and any advice at all would be nice. I've look at this DIY and its helped a lot but i dont really want to buy a longer power cable to run all the way to the battery if i dont have to.
thanks to anyone who can help me
