Some background... I had a 2007 335I and in that year, there was no way to get the angel eyes to come on by themselves as DRLs or with any other setting like you could on the coupe or other models, 535 etc.

So I've been reading the manual and searching here and it seems that DRL mode on my 2010 turn on my eyelids and low beams, no parking or tail lights, correct?

I was hoping to be able to use eyelids only or eyelids+fogs. Possible? If the 2011 follows the other models, won't DRL mode mean the new LED DRLs only will be on? If so, how will swapping LED DRLs for the stock fogs ever work without a software change?

I don't have P2, so no xenon, so I'm not sure why I'd ever do an eyelid LED retrofit if I can't use the eye lids by themselves as DRLs.

FYI, you can get just the angel eyes to come on by themselves as DRL. Just requires a bit of reprogramming. Seen it done. Same can be accomplished on the 204 through a STAR.
