On the E, it's the same front and rear. On the C, they didn't have both the 7.5" and 8.5" wheels in stock, but what they did have - 8" - split the difference so closely that the staggered tires fit. There is some flexibility on rim width for a given tire and the half inch up/down was within that envelope. It's been fine ever since.

I am very interested in getting the AMG style 810 for my C-Class. How do you guys think it would look on a 2012 C300 BLACK on BLACK. Also, would I have to replace the tires at all? Or since i'm ordering the 17" would I be able to just take them off and put them on the new ones. I am a novice at anything to do with rims so my last question is does anybody know what the sizes are for the front and back of the 2012 facelifted C300 rims so that I wouldn't have to replace the tires. I have the stock 2012 c300 4matic rims. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the tires can be reused with new 17" aftermarket wheels, and 7.5" or 8" width are fine. That is what I did...transferred my tires to the new wheels. So, that would look like 7.5x17 or 8x17. Be sure to get the proper offset...a value in the mid-to-high 40s will work...anything in the 30s is too low. That is shown as ET48 (for example with an offset of 48). PowerwheelsPro has sold enough C Class wheels that they should know the right size. I worked with Vassili.
Part of the question of your tires includes how good are they? If they are the original equipment ContiProContact, they are fairly mediocre. There are lots of great tires out there which would also be a very good investment in enjoying the driving of your car....it would make quite a difference!!
