Question Retrofit multimedia package?

Hi guys,

I'm about to buy my first MB and when I go to the dealer they keep telling me that I can't retrofit NAVI and backup camera on my car....of course they say that . Then I found this great forum!

I've never modified a car in my life, but I'm good with tech stuff. So what in your opinion is the best way to add NAVI to a P1 or P2 package? What do I need to buy?

I live in Florida and wouldn't mind finding some shop doing this type of stuff.

Does it void the CPO Warranty BTW?

I'm on the market for a pre-owned C300 or C350 and need to buy my car in the next few days (just returned my leased BMW)...Multimedia packs are hard to find and so much more expensive...

Any good advice appreciated (and sorry if there is already an existing thread about it that I haven't found)

Thanks!

No prob Hope you consider the cost though. Rather steep. Then again. Vic says it was half the cost of the option itself for him. So maybe it's just me.

I do consider the cost, the thing is that for some reason, the W204 with NAVI is so hard to find and when you find one, the price of the pre-owned vs. brand new makes little sense. So I'm trying to find alternatives.
It looks like a pretty time consuming operation as well.
Maybe I should keep looking for a factory made C300 w/MM package and add what's seems easier like the backup camera for example (that should come standard IMO)
