So there's probably another thread on this topic but i wasn't able to find anything through the search so if you know of a thread regarding this issue please point me in the right direction.

So my situation is that no one really knows what socket my fog lights are

i have a 2010 c300 and ive gone to the dealer, and pepboys, and asked the pros on this forum, and everyone says that the socket is either h11 or 9006 but in fact, the damn light looks like a h7 mounted on a piece of plastic no one knows what it is i need some major help please.

btw if someone can link a DIY to install hid xenons from www.hidextra.com i would really appreciate it.

if you have sport, its H7, if you have Luxury, its H11. theres plenty of DIYs on installing HIDs. go to the DIY thread !

 

ok i understand that they are h7 and that is what i took away from it too. but what would i have to tell Hidextra.com so they can send me a kit that would replace my fogs without actually retrofitting the old bulbs??

Meaning the plastic thing under the bulb that is my main problem.

This problem is driving me crazy...

its a regular h7, the bulb twists out of the plastic backing. i had the same confusion when changing mine
