special order 2011 c class
I am thinking about doing a factry order C class luxury. I like the 17" 17 spoke wheels. How does this work? Does my custom order come with these wheels or are they swapped at the dealer? If swapped what about the old wheels? Also it shows a price at about $1500 is this for the set or one wheel

Even if you were ordering the most expensive S-Class, you can only order what is in the US catalog of options.

Well, I did say might.
Volvo will let you choose from several non-US spec upholsteries, paints and a few other odds and ends. Engines and other stuff needs to be USA legal of course. No luck getting a euro diesel or anything like that.

c class order
What I am trying to get clarification on is in the MBUSA sight you can do a build it. In the accesroires field it shows several wheel options. I realize you can buy these as accesroires after the fact but how about as a factory order ? This way the OE wheels can be credited

If it's a wheel listed under accessories, that will not come on the car from the factory. You will have to get those from the dealer's parts department. The only way you are going to get any credit is if the dealer will buy the stock wheels back from you. Otherwise, both sets of wheels are yours, so make sure you get them both.

Thanks much, OK I am clear now, just one more thing. Is the price listed at about $1500 all 4 wheels or just 1 wheel?

It's for all 4 wheels.
I'm actually in the process of special ordering my 2011 C350. I'm talking to the dealer about getting the C63 wheels straight from the factory instead of getting the 17" standard ones. I'm hoping this could save me some money. I have no need for 2 sets of wheels. I'm going to try to get the dealer to charge me for the difference in the wheels.
