2008 C300... any thing to lookout for

I'm looking to buy a 2008 C300, w about 12k miles on it. Is there anything specific I need to be aware of? Any problems that occur w/ this line of car?
Thank you in advance.

Another round of ICE
Independent quality reports have shown a clear improvement from 08 to 09 through winning the segment for Initial Quality in 2010 (JDP). If you are on the fence with more than one choice, get the newest one you can afford. Other members on this forum have noted improvement from 08 to 09 in the "solid feel", probably due to a change in suspension calibration.

Thanks man. Honestly i'm looking at buying this car to resale in the short term. getting it as a way under blue book cost from a divorcee. Hoping to use it to jumpstart my quest for an E55 or E63 in the next 2 years!

@Sportstick - great info. most of the adjustments from 2008 to 2009 are very subtle, but they really do make a big difference in how the car feels and the quality of the equipment on board. From what I've noticed, a lot of the problems in the 2008 version (Rock hard suspension, cheap plastic on the dashboard, a trunk lid that bounces open and requires slamming to close, acceleration lag) are all fixed on the 2009.

@Sok454 - you definitely scored well. The dealer told me my C300 was worth at KBB value so I decided to return the lease instead because the resid was too high after 27 months.

sorry in my opinion between the 08-09 its pretty much the same. Yes some are made a little better comming out of the factory but thats just luck of the draw. Now if your going to a 2010 then yes there are differences but there all being made the same way, with minor differences. I would only get newer if you plan on trading in your car in the near future.
