What did you think of the color match to your car? Does it match pretty good? What color is your car?

I got the roof spoiler and the AMG trunk spoiler from them at the same time.
Fitment's great but the color is a bit off. The spoiler is a brighter white than my car's (both color code 650). Thinking of replacing with a CF lip because of this actually.

I got the carbon fiber one and it looks really good. The fitment was a little off in the middle and there is a small bump on it. As if a drop of paint fell on it and left a small lump on it. Besides that it looks good. You also shouldn't have it installed at the dealers. My dealership told me $500 for the white one including installation. I paid $300 for cf and installation

Its funny that you said that it appears brighter because the trunk spoiler appears just a bit brighter to me than the roof spoiler (also paint code 650). But I think its just an illusion because the trunk spoiler is shaped different than the roof spoiler and I think its just catching the light in a different way. Also, they must be exactly the same color because they were both done at the same time. I ordered both the roof and trunk spoiler at the same time.

I just dry fitted the roof spoiler and it matches perfectly, but when I put the trunk spoiler on in the garage it seems like its a bit brighter than the car, but when I pull my car out in the sun, both the roof and trunk look like they match perfectly.........so I think its just the way that the light hits it.

Anyway, I am going to take them to the dealer this Friday to have them installed but I am going to ask them for their opinion first as to the color match before they put them on.

My dealer is not really charging that much for installation. He quoted between $100 and $125 to install both.

Cosmetically, I like either look.
This better be a C63.

320 CDI - they don't have the ridiculous low speed limiters like w204 (except C63) in N. America.

bowling *****...LOL

all trunk spoiler will increase down-force as the speed increase. they really start working after triple digit most of the time.

washing the car is completely different. clean car cuts through the air cleaner where there are no dirt particles to increase drag.

Well, it depends. When Porsche first used a rear spoiler (the ducktail) on the 1973 911 Carrera RS, their wind tunnel studies showed a measurable reduction in rear lift at 35mph. Admittedly, it's a whole lot bigger that any MB sedan spoiler.

i guess it just depends on the design of the car+spoiler.

my 1.8T Beetle had the pop-up roof spoiler that was originally designed to deploy at 80mph and you can really feel it working too since the Beetle was fairly light, but after 2002 they changed the deploy speed to 45mph which was more of a "look at me" change.
