New Headlight/Foglight Bulbs Installed - Phillips Diamond Vision

Did anyone else have trouble taking out the stock low beam bulb? I could not take out my bulb out of the socket as per the manual. Can anyone guide me as far as what I did wrong? I thought this should be a simple mod.
Thanks

Taking out the bulb should be fairly simple, you just have to get your hand in there and get the metal tab popped out at the right angle. I followed what the manual said and had no problems.

Huh?
I just pulled the black connector from the bulb itself. Then pressed down on the clip to unlock the bulb from the lens housing and pulled it out.
You press down on the clip and shift it to the right or left to unlatch it.
Pretty easy to do and I'm a doof!

I went with ddmtunning 55Watt HID kit. Much brighter than even stock Merc HIDs, cheaper, and come with slim ballasts. No codes. Works perfect. 3K HIDs for the fogs. Now I need to change the eyebrows...
