Question Is this a good deal for a 2010 C350?

2010 C350 with multimedia package and panorama roof, MSRP about $43,000. The dealer is giving me this car for $6,000 off for a total price of about $37,000. Based on your experience, is this a good deal?

Also, my guess would be that the car is sitting in the lot for a long time (maybe 4+ months, although I can find the exact time). Any downside one this?

Thanks

You can check the door sill for the build date and the salesman should be able to tell you the delivery date as well (It showed up on my invoice when I purchased my w204).

There are great deals on previous MY C-classes across the line right now (there usually are rebates across the MBZ line for previous model year cars all the time, however, so don't feel rushed..)

I would opt out of the C350, and go for a 300 4Matic with P1 and P2 package instead (along with MM, pano, and w/e you wanted in the 350). The rims on the 350 ARE very nice, however, and if you're not looking to swap to aftermarket rims they could be a deciding factor.

Prices seem to vary a lot since the new model came out in 2008. Some people paid sticker early on and then I have seen prices of 6-8k off during year end sales.

IMO $6k off seems like a very fair deal considering when I bought there were only 3 C350's (2 with the options I wanted) in a 3 state search hampering my negotiation's and interest rates were in the 6% range for great credit.
