That looks awesome, think I'll have to get one of those before too long. How easy was the installation? Is the star emblem about the same size as on the original sport grill? It almost looks larger, is it?

Thanks. I have no idea how hard is it to install as it was done by my body shop. Looks easy to me though. To be frank, I have no idea whether there is a difference in the size in terms of the emblems.

removing the grille is fairly easy.
1. remove the intake hose from the top cover
2. un-clip the top cover from the back by lifting the clip away/towards the engine from the top of the support beam and up
3. push down on the two side (where the the 0 shape hole is on two side where you can see the beam) and forward. don't forget to un-lock that pin in the middle of the cover first too.
4. remove the screws holding onto the T-bar
5. push the bottom of your grille in until all the clips are un-done. they will be tight if you have never removed the grille before
6. once the clips are un-done just lift the grille off.

Installed. For those that asked..took me 2 minutes. I didn't have to detach the intake hose, top cover, or anything. Just popped the tabs out from the bumper and wiggled it gently while pulling up..came right out.

Love it. I ended up going with the glossy since I saw a black CL63 with the glossy black and thought it looked sweet.

Btw dude I didn't realize we were about the same age..just saw your post in the "old man" thread haha. Seems like a good percentage of w204 owners on here are early 20s..kinda nice.
