Need help removing air vent above MM player

I would like to install a backup camera on a 2010 c300. I have been reading all the threads I can find about this subject. I watched the one video I found showing how to remove the air vent. I can't seem to find the latch as the video shows. Any suggestions?

Yeah you need a hook-type tool to unlatch them.. my SA help me pull them out when I was swapping out to my wood vents. If you're really having a problem I don't think your dealership would charge you to pull out the AC vent, it's like 1 minute of labor... at least mine did my vent swap for free.

Do you know where the service rep stuck the hook? Side, top?

I just used 2 micro flathead screw drivers and got it out easy without damaging the parts. Slide one screw driver between the dash and the vent on the right side which should give you a small gap on the top of the vent where you can stick another flat head screw driver on the top right corner and then pull out towards you. It seems scary at first but then you realize the vent is just stuck on with some clips so it should come off with a tug.

Thank you, solved my issue. There is no latch to release. I used a spring hook and grabed the side of air vent and "in technical terms 'yanked hard".
