I bought an '08 c300 and wanted to activate the sirius radio but on the screen it says "ACQUIRING SIGNAL" and it doesn't let me tune into any stations so it can receive programming from SIRIUS. After talking to someone from SIRIUS, they couldn't figure out what it was and asked me to take it to the dealership to have the antenna connection checked.

Any feedback on how I can check it myself so I don't have to go to the dealership and waste a day doing so?

Mine gets stuck on that screen sometimes after being in the garage, then pulling out. I just turn the entire sound system off and turn it back on. The screen always clears after doing that.

I had this exact problem in my 08 C350. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the entire antenna assembly and I have never had it since. This is a known problem with the 2008s. Hope you are still under warranty.....

I should still be under warranty. What warranty does the 08 come with? I have 18,000 miles.

I bought it at carmax. Should I take it there or to a MB dealership? If it's under warranty?
