Does anyone know the brand of our tire pressure monitor system...My sensor cracked and instead of paying the dealer 120 for a sensor i'm was looking on tirerack for a replacement sensor but am not sure which brand...im guessing its the hella 400 system...56.00 for the sensor? I've seen the thread where RLE noted it was for around 76.00 on tirerack so i'm not sure if the one i'm looking at is the right one...

Also once replaced does the sensor learn itself to the system? ive called my tire guy and they charge extra 100.00 if it doesnt learn itself but only 37.50 if it does....benz dealer charges flat 50.00 to replace the sensor.

 

Schrader. Most likely spelt wrong LOL. I purchased two sets from TireRack with no problems. No need to learn just reset on the instrument cluster.

 

Thanks for the quick reply Ron, but i dont see the schrader sensor on tirerack..is it the same as the Hella TC-400? seems thats the only one sold at tirerack.
