Cant remove the grill!

So i tried removing the grill cause i would like it to get painted black
and i ended up breaking off a little piece of the plastic part your supposed to take out (like the very first step to removing the grill)
its a circle, and only a small portion snapped off.
any suggestions on what to do?
can i take it to the dealer ship and ask them to take it off?

Did you break the thing that you have to turn to unlock? I cracked it the first time I tried to remove the grill, but you don't have to take it off. Just leave it unlocked and move on to the next step.

The grille removal is very easy, You will need to take off the surrounding plastic pieces attached to the headlight and grille first, before attempting to unlock that top plastic bolt.

Your not supposed to pull out the circular notch... you just have to align it with the grooves positioned at 12 and 6 o'clock and you will feel it loosen and that's all you have to do for step one... If you broke it you can purchase one from the dealer

For step 2: unclamp your air intakes from the radiator mounting cover... a flathead screwdriver would help push it out....just do the top notch and you should be able to pull and wiggle it away from it's place... Make sure you remove the black wire and black hose that is held by the radiator mounting cover

For step 3: the radiator mounting cover has 4 clamps... 2 on top and 2 can be can be found at bottom rear section... unclamp the bottom rear section by pulling out the notch away from the cover... now with the use of a flathead screwdriver gently push the plastic part of the mounting cover down and you should feel it loosen out...

For step 4: unscrew the T-brace holding the grill and apply inward pressure on the grill... it is being held by a notch on each side and clamps on the bottom

Putting it back on should be a breeze
