clc and c class headlights?

hello guys.....i was wondering if its possible to fit clc w204 headlights onto a c class w204. im only doing this as the casing in the clc is black which im after. any help would be great.

I don't think you can because the CLC is based on a reworked W203 platform. The 2011 C-Class with the upgraded lighing package has the blacked out headlights, I saw one at the dealer this moring while they were checking my TPMS and I'll have to say they do look awesome!

The headlights do look the same _but_ the bumper, fenders and hood are much different on the W203 based CLC which leads me to think that perhaps they may not fit. I would personally replace the headlights with ones that are made for the W204 OR you could search the forum to see how you could paint the light casings yourself. Is there a reason why you are set on the CLC lights when there is a specific W204 part that meets your needs? I am in no way calling myself and expert, but... Just wondering why. I did notice that you have a C220 CDI, so you are not in the US. Are the CLC parts easier to get where you are?

Looks nice, I may look into doing this myself. Is it possible to just leave the ring around the low beam lens chrome when painting?

yes, you can paint parts that you want

only reason im asking for the clc headlights is that i have seen a pair on ebay. i have looked everywhere for the black c class casing ones...but no luck

is there any thread on how to paint it yourself?. elidolo i seen your link....the lights look amazing...shame i cant read spanish lol.
