Mercedes C280/300 X-pipe

Hello,

I have a Mercedes C280 (it's a 3.0L V6) from 2007.
I've seen the movies and the threads about the X-Pipe but still I got a few questions.

If I buy the xpipe (2.25) how is the installation? Is it a perfect fit or not?

Thanks!

ps: Sorry for my bad english but I'm from the Netherlands

The fitting is perfect, except the magnaflow x-pipe in 2.25" is not long enough to replace the factory resonator. So they had to cut 2 stainless steel pipes 2.25" diameter to bridge the extra distance. about 6" long each (because it is dual exhaust). Total install cost was around $85 (I supplied x-pipe). He said that if he fabricated the x-pipe himself, he could make it long enough so that no extra piping was needed. But I didn't want to go with his creation, and decided to stick with magnaflow which I know what it sounds like.

Allright, I've heard that the Magnaflow gives the best sound so I would like to go for the Magnaflow then. Is it really necessary to cut and weld? Or is it fitted with bolds?
