around $200 would be a fair price. but there are different kinds of films. There are a lot of tint related threads out there. just do a search, and you'll find a lot of useful info.

I'm considering getting mine done (just the back though since I've had it with fix-it tickets), and my friend highly recommended California Tint in Rosemead. In reading the yelp reviews, prepare to go a little before opening time to minimize your waiting time though.

i've gotten all my cars tinted at California Tint. good place, but be prepare to wait a few hours. if you're lucky, you might only have to wait 2 hours. lol

A place in Rowland Heights called Tint Zone is doing a good job too. I just got my car done there last Saturday.

Went by to Promax today. They were doing lots of tint/vinyl work when I went. Nice/funny people. John took care of my grille vinyl wrap and gave me three free CF dinoc cut outs for my key. Definitely recommended! It's a shame he only comes out on Saturdays though.

What time did you go? Must have just missed you. Was in this morning putting tint back on my 7 after I got hit with a fix it lol.

I went at like 12:30. I saw someone's C class... black vinyl hood, blacked out stock 18"s, red calipers, tinted tails....Reminded me of ShaiMalka's car but its diffuser wasn't painted.

Yeah, I approached that guy too, but looked at me weird and muttered something in cantonese...then walked away lol. Guess he didn't speak much english. I left the place around 12 for lunch. Must have just missed you.

how much tint by promax for the whole car excluding windshield? What brand? Do you guys tint the windshield?

He looked at me weird too....But then again, who wouldn't look at a college student weird if he had a Mercedes... But yeah. I love how the grille turned out. I just wish the silver plastic around the star could be wrapped Still. Can't beat the price for what I got. I'll probably go again when I want to get the roof done and tails painted/tinted.

I really have no clue how much it costs. They use Johnson Window Film which has served me well this past year. But then again I went with Greystone instead of Ray Guard like most other people go with.
