FYI, in case some of you guys didn't know. If you check the plasti-dip website you will see they offer it in other colors. They also offer a kit for you to create your custom color.

Here are a few pics of my rims with the plasti dip . Im not done with all the coats yet but i needed my car so i had to put the wheels back on until i have time to finish . If you plan on leaving a lip you have to peel the tape off right after spraying, before it dries or else the plasti dip will peel along with the tape . This happened to my wheels in the back so when i spray the rest of the coats i have to redo the lip . The more coats you put on the better it looks , i only have two coats on the front wheels and one coat for the back so im going to spray 4 coats in total for each rim .

Thanks , it took forever to tape the first few times i did it . I had to tape it for every coat so i after a little while i got good at it . Will post more pics when im done with wheels and grill . Think im going to spray some clear coat to protect the coating too.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Your wheels look good. I was going to do that to my winter wheels today and grille, but ran out of time. I think leaving the lip silver is the way to go. I was thinking about spraying clear plasti dip on the underside of my rocker panels and then peeling it off after winter. I have to order it in clear though. I couldn't find it in any stores.

I easily found black. I went to Summit Racing and they had all of the colors, but did not have clear.

Almost done with wheels , just one more coat on the front wheels and clear coat . The finished wheels in the back look really good . The lip isnt 100 % perfect but it was done in my back yard so im happy with it .

Never heard of this product before. Looks like a great way to do reversible mod on the car. Does this thing spray just like regular paint in a can?

Yea, and it peels off like latex.
