but they are brighter and consume less power than halogen bulbs... maybe not LED strips in the headlights.. but LED city parking lights and LED strip fog lights like on the clk black series.. they actually do help illuminate the road better.

exactly as mentioned above. when added on like some stupid strip, looks cheap, like its trying hard to fit in with the euro look done by audi and porsche. when incorporated into lighting housing, looks awsome.

I should have separated the two thougths a little more clearly. I was just giving my opinion on the C Class LEDs because I think they are poorly integrated.

Some of the LEDs look functional -- i.e. will be distinctly visible in broad daylight, but some -- particularly the strip/s of small blue-ish dot type ones seem useless for DRL purpose.
