Anxiously awaiting my C - Pic request (Yes, I searched)
I signed papers about a month ago on a new C300 4matic- super excited I was told it would take about a week to source the car in my config.. low and behold due to the factory strike, I'm waiting for a boat to dock next Thursday with my car! (11' C300 4matic, P1, heated seats, lighting, umi nav, black/black)
However, Ive been tempted numerous times to accept a car without the lighting package! This will be my 4th car, and the last two came standard with HID's- so IMO I refused to drive one of these cars without the package, as it boggles my mind that people will put out this much coin for an automobile, yet NOT "splurge" on a 900 dollar lighting package..
To the point of the thread - I have not been able to find a picture of the factory LED tails lit up- anywhere.
Can someone post a pic or point me in the right direction? Couldn't source something definitive from the search.

It's only the flashers that are led. At least on my 2011 c300 with the same options as you. I really love the look of the smoked headlights on the non-lighting packaged c300s though.

Yes, the factory LED tails that come in the p2 package still use halogen brake lights and standard lighting, only isntead of a halogen blinker in yellow, it has red led side turn signals in the taillight housing.
If you wanted pure led brake and running lights with led turn signal, you will have to go aftermarket. Here is one such option:
