Navigation Voice
So who here hates the nav voice? I was flipping through the other languages and the German, French and Spanish voices aren't nearly as grating, with the Italian being slightly annoying... Why is the English voice have to be so damn annoying? I read on another thread that the Euro nav system gets a different English voice, but no details about how it sounds.

So should they offer another voice?

The standard US voice is sort of someone's terrible idea of a Mid Atlantic accent. So it sounds like the bossy older woman from a 1940s flick. I'd actually prefer a German accented English voice for character or a standard US voice that is a bit more pleasant.

I turn the voice guidance off ASAP...its like nails on a chalk board for me the voice is so bad. They really could have came up with a better sounding voice.
