Welcome! I just came back from HK not too long ago. There's a few W204's in my HK apartment's parking but none are modded. The only one that caught my eye was a new black E coupe with black rims.

I mean do you need to pay extra license/registration fee for a Benz rather than driving a Corolla?

In Hong Kong, the more expensive the car, the more expensive the first car registration tax gets (in terms of % of retail price).
