I have a 2014 C300 Benz and I had to replace three tires already in 14 months of driving, I have never had so many issues with tires and wonder if there are other people having similar issues, the tires seem to get bubbles very easy. Any normal holes that other tires would manage normally create bubbles on this car tires. If anyone has replaced the original equipment with tires that are performing better please let me know
Thank you

C300 W204 4Matic Sport - Tires won't last more that 12k
I'm on my 4th set of tires. Had alignment done always after replacing. Michelin's Pilots, very noisy now, they look (feel) feathered to me. After 12k, they have 4 32" in the back. Is there a problem with the car?

Same with Michelin’s
The Continentals that came with my car got bubbles within 3 days of owning the car, so I got rid of them and got some Kumho Ecsta4X and have had no issues since. Continentals are known for having very soft sidewalls and will bubble at a moments notice. Get Kumhos or Michelins those were my 2 options but a full set of Ecsta 4x mounted and balanced for 350.

i had constant problems with my OEM continentals with inside wear in the front. The rear tires would easily last 2 sets of fronts. I’m on general g-max tires and so far so good. I know tires can be sensitive to different cars. Suspension issues and alignment can also have an effect.

New car industry's best kept secret. It's all to do with cost cutting and ever increasing speed of auto assembly lines.
We saw the need and manufacture (bolt-on, no mods) front Camber and Caster, rear Camber (and extra Toe) kits.
Catering for other then showroom height conditions – day to day commuting encountering high cambered roads, wheel squat through load carrying or lowering, fitting wide profile tires, curb knock damage.
KMAC W166 front kit also replaces the 4 lower arm highest wearing bushings which are subject to premature failure and OEM are expensive to replace.
ALL KITS CAN BE FITTED WITHOUT NEED FOR ARM REMOVAL and are precise single wrench adjustable. Accurate – direct on alignment rack (under load).
2012 C300 FRONT
Camber kit $295 (Both Sides) #502616-1G
(less then cost of 1 hi performance tire)
Camber & Caster $480 (Both Sides) #5026161K
REAR Camber (& extra Toe) $480 #502126K
W166 FRONT
Camber & Caster (lower arm) $595 (Both Sides) #504016M
Camber & Caster (upper arm) $480 (Both Sides) #504016-2J
REAR Camber (& extra Toe) $480 (Both Sides) #504026K
(W166 Rear has adjustment – KMAC doubles adjustment range).
Delivery $40 one kit ($60 front & rear)

MBWorld Fanatic!
My MB dealer recommended Yokohama V405 tires over the OE Continentals. I am very satisfied with them. I rotate every 5-6000 miles. My C250 is also quite a bit lighter than the C300 4matic, so it’s possible the problem is less severe on the lighter RWD car.

I think alignment is only half the issue. If it was just alignment, I would have wear only. Since cupping is occurring, I am thinking shock in addition to alignment. The car makes a slight rumbling when going down the road which is from the cupped tires. There is no contact between the tire and the physical car (is that what you meant kowyzg0moo?). The car is a 2008 C300 4-matic with about 38,000 miles. Have any of you with this car looked to see if you are having the same issue? Thanks for the replies!
