2011 C300 Luxury 4Matic

C300 Luxury Bluetooth contacts

I have a 2011 C300 Luxury with the Audio 20, no nav. The dealer added my Verizon LG VX8360 contact list very quickly, too fast to notice the process. The instruction manual is not clear. But I would like to add other individual telephone numbers using the dash keyboard. Is that possible without interfacing via the phone?

I don't see that option as being available in my 2009 C300 Operator's Manual. I also do not have Nav and have the LG VX8360 and find it quite simple to just send the v-card over from the phone (can select any or all to send in the LG).

Hi...I too have a '09 C300 Lux, and can send updated phone list via v-cards from my LG phone...I have noticed,

however that occasionally my contact list disappears !!...I then have to resend v-cards to get list back....Have you ever noticed this ?...Could it be the phone or the car's memory ?.......

I have not see that problem but I don't update it often. I did notice that after adding a contact to my phone and selecting to send "all" v-cards that it created duplicates of everything. I guess I thought it would be smart enough to not send one that existed in the car's contact list. So I just deleted all in the car and resent everything again. Next time, I'll only send the new ones.

My BMW worked that way but did not notice that my C300 did. I thought I added one contact and edited another and neither change came through automatically after the phone connected to the car. I'll have to check that again sometime.
