Hey guys. I was wondering if someone can help me figure out if the following wheels will fit on my W204? 19x8.5 (5x112) offset 45. Is there any chance of rubbing? Do you have any idea what good tire sizes would be? Thanks in advance! Much appreciated!

It also depends on what size tires you plan on using

Ended up changing the rims today as the offset was wrong on the old ones and they stuck out at the rear to much, the old ones were et35 the new ones et45 with same tyres.

Brabus
Hey guys, need some help fast. I'm on a trip and I've blown a tire so I'll have to replace 2 rears today. Can't drive around with no spare 1000km from home

Car isn't stock and I wasn't the one doing the modifications. Basically its full brabus kit, front/rear bumpers, skirts with LEDs, quad pipes etc. I'm pretty sure it has stock shocks and brabus springs with brabus wheels, 235/35/19 front, 255/30/19 rears. The car doesn't have any rubbing issues, even with 4 people and full boot. I don't know the wheel size and ET. I'll attach few crappy pictures below that i have on this laptop, probably gonna snap a few more and post later when i leave my hotel to help u guys get a clear idea what I'm working with here. So, I was wondering, is it possible to run 255/35/19 in the rear? I'm thinking extra sidewall will increase ride quality a lot, current wheels are really skinny and Bosnian roads are doing everything they can to make my life even harder

I know u guys feel jimmythegreek is the guru...hopefully he sees this...I posted a thread some time ago...19" tire fitment question??... didn't really get help but if u wanna see the reps there on that post... I'm wondering what's the tires I can put on 19 8.5/19 9.5 staggered amg reps...I don't plan on dropping cuz I live in NYC... I've seen some nice cars with setups...like that guy popp.... offsets 'i think' are 44mm....still looking into it... how wide can I go in the rear w/out rubbing or any issues...I was thinking 225/35 in front and 275/30 in back...or 235/35...help me out cuz I don't wanna our purchase and have issues, happened when I had a w203 and all cuz of lugs...don't wanna relive that.

Im not on here much, swamped w work lately.... anyway the offset is the most important thing, just pull a front and rear wheel or get down and look they are on the back of one of the spokes, wiill ahve numbers all around and say ET then numbers, thats the offset, prob diff for front and back. IF u have 44 F and R u can go 275/30 and 245/35. Thats w a standard tire manufacturer. If your using OEM style go 235 up front to be safe. I cleared a stock height w 45mm out back on a 10" wide wheel w 275/30/19 w falken 452's, so u will def clear w 275 on a 9.5 wide wheel. Note alot of reps are 35mm offset if so u need 225/35 and 255/30 to clear at stock height w skinny tires, u cant drop at all or u will rub without mods to fenders and other stuff

they are running 255/30 to clear the rears cause of the drop, u will prob rub a little w 5mm more height, I wouldnt try it, sometimes just a different brand tire will rub over a skinnier brand, Its happened to me twice, once when I got a blowout away from home and had to buy whatever brand was in stock I could find, 255/30/19 arent stocked at many places unless they do high performance wheels. Also the 35 sidewall wont be noticeable to you, maybe mentally u will feel it rides better but in actuallity it wont, not enough meat to change things more than a hair if that, stick to what clears and is working....

ok so i just got back from the shop where i purchased rims....all four have a 45mm offset....he suggested from tire rack 235 up front and 255 in the rear.... that sounds wack to me...i like the setup that popp has on his car....but if i can do 225/35 in front and 275/30 in rear plz let me kno....it sounds like i should be fine....if not 265 in rear....reason i said i like popps setup cuz he has thicker tires and im in ny...always a plus...his profile is 40 in the front and 35 in the rear...watcha think?

dilema!!
I have been running 19x8.5 Fronts and 19x9.5 Rears on ET35 front and backs for a while.
I got run off the road by a truck and ended up crushing my alloys on the kerb. They are destroyed. Unfixable.
There are a set of alloys I want to buy to replace. The specs are;
Front 19x8.5 ET40 and Rear 19x9.5 ET40. I don't want to have the same rubbing issues as my previous alloys.
Can I get away with no rubbing with these tyres? fronts 225/35/19 and rears 255/30/19?
I do want to consider lowering the car on springs and eventually coils.

Any help much appreciated.

The front should be ok but I think your rears will still rub. I run a 235/35 on a 19x9.5 ET45 in the rear and rub ever so slightly when fully loaded. Your tire and offset will be wider than mine so I'm guessing it"ll still be a problem for you.

Thanks for the advice.
It is so hard to find a correct offset wheel for these Mercedes cars in the UK.
The wheels that comes near are offsets look so ugly.

Need ET on the wheels. Fronts should be no lower than 44. I have 42et fronts with Falken tires same size and I rub with H&R coils and I'm not as low as SS springs. Nakangs are not considered "skinnys" so I'm sure it has more of a square shoulder than the falkens. Rears ET can be as low as 44ET also. Your tire size should fit pending the ET's of the wheels.

That should work. I am not sure about Nakang's sidewall, so if someone has these tires maybe they could chime in. But Falken sidewall's are pretty rounded off. Plus my experience with Falken 452 has been pretty positive except a bit of road noise hum.

Nankangs NS2 are known to run smaller/skinnier. I have them on my front wheels. Doesn't look square to me. I used these to stretch since they run small so I could clear the front fenders. A lot of people use these as well as falken 452s to stretch because they stretch so well.

Eduardo, what are the widths on the wheels you got? You should clear with widths being front 8.5 and rear 9.5. You might rub fully loaded in the rear on SS though.
