19"s or 20"s
What size rims are most of you running on your C class???? 19s or 20s, can both fit? is there any downside to running 20's?
I know that 19"tires will cost more than 20"tires right because of the odd size.

Most C class owners upgraded their wheels to 19s... with the proper offset you won't encounter any rubbing ... handling and ride comfort is still pretty close to stock
A few have 20's... Some have reported rubbing issues but some also had zero rubbing even with H&R Super Sports lowering springs
It all depends on you... It'a matter of personal taste, If you have plans of lowering your car you'll probably be better of with 19s
20's are more expensive than 19s

Most? It is quite certain that most C Class owners never visit an owner's forum and have the original 17"s which came on most of the production. Next in volume would be the take rate for OE 18"s...then a small number with 19 and even fewer with 20.
It is possible that, of the subset who replace their OE wheels with aftermarket wheels, 18" or 19" may be the most frequent choice, but this is a small percentage of total C Class sold.

My vote still goes with 19... 20's looks nice and is good for show

I really like 20s but I'm not sure if they will scrub... espieacially with rear passangers. Does anybody roll 20s now?
Also what size tires (width) for 19s and 20s?

O.K......perhaps a bit of poetic license with:
"What size rims are most of you running on your C class???? 19s or 20s, can both fit? "
but, now I understand your point......Happy New Year!

I'm currently running 20" Klassen K5.1 wheels. Just looking at the difference from 19s and 20s was a no brainer. This is my daily drive too. 19s look ridiculously small if its not full face wheels. With a lip the wheels will look like 18s. Step lip will make it look like a 17.
My previous set of wheels were 20" Work Varianza T1s. They did not rub due to safe offsets. They were 42 and 45 offset i believe.
As for the Klassens, i went for a more aggressive offset to flush it out. My front is flush with the fender as for the rear i will be swapping out the barrel for another 1inch to 1.5inch.
20s will fit under 30 profile tires. Anything higher will cause rubbing. If you are on a budget go with 19s. Otherwise go big or go home.![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
Here are some of the specs:
Current:
- 20" Klassen K5.1 (20x8.5 / 20x9.5)
- Falken FK452 Tires (235/30/20 & 255/30/20)
Old:
- Work Varianza T1s (20x8 / 20x8.5)
- Falken FK452 Tires (235/30/20 & 255/30/20)
Hope i was able to help.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

i would suggest get the 19'' prodrive GC-05K , 19'' x 8J front ET45, 19'' x 9J rear ET 50
i assume it is the extra lite forged rims against rest, as of it is only weight around 8.9 kilogram per pc/19''.
i checked that it is even lite than my AMG 17'' both with tires of coz,
i think once you pick the GC-05K by your hand, and after that you pick rest rims you will easy see what is the diff......

Its all about personal preference, if the op likes 20's.. yess they fit with the rite offset they dont rub.. if you feel like "your going big" by getting 20's.. enjoy.. the roads in north jersey suck.. soo 19's are better for me.. my 1st set of wheels were 20's i bent 2 of them.. now im on my 2nd pair of 19's with no problems.. Thats how i roll

im lowered on H&R Super Sport Springs everyone. Yea like people said, its about personal preference. For me its my daily drive and the roads are pretty decent for me. Just my preference of 19s look small on this car. Reason why i opted for 20s. Goodluck with your choice OP. Feel free to msg me if you have any further questions. Sorry for the late reply. Hardly have time to log on.
