cthumarshall can you post some rear end shots?
Im interested to see on how a 285 tire sits in the rear... The widest I have seen so far for a C is a 275
Good color choice too by the way on your Rennen R8 concaves

Very nice wheels! My question is how many miles are on your springs? If your experiencing rubbing its only going to get worse when your springs break in. I would go with a little less meat on those tires. And be very careful with potholes, good luck

I sent you a private message but if anyone on here could advice me I'd appreciate it. I am purchasing a 08 C300 (possibly if i can figure this tire thing out). My hubby runs a dealership and he got it in on trade. Tires are shot, but car has 20 in rims. CUrrently the front has 225/30/zr20 but it is giving it that strecthed look and I'm not a fan of that look. Plus the tires wear worse that way, i think. I am trying to figure out if I can get larger tires that don't have to be stretched or if they are strecthed b/c thats the only option. Butler tire and all those places are already closed at the techs at his dealership are clueless about the car b/c they don't sell mercedes and don't do upgrades like this. I think the wheel is 9 in but it might be 8.5. Any advise would help as I need to know if this is something i want to buy or not (i don't wanna have strecthed tires and have them wear out super fast, i want slightly larger tires) thanks!

I had 20x10 et 48 with 275/25/20 before, tires too stretch no rubbing.
So with a et52 it should compensate the 10mm wider tire
