Service for C300
I have just purchased a 2008 C300. Message says A2 service due in XX days. Other times it says A1 due in XX days. It's my understanding this goes up to A9 and there is also B1, etc service. Can anyone tell me what A1, etc and B1, etc means.

Go to the MB USA website and find the online maint. schedule. An A service is basically just an oil change so go to MB dealership and just ask for an oil change or better yet find a reputable European car shop that specializes in MB. Whatever you do don't take to a Jiffy Lube or similar... B service is not much more than an oil change either but can cost upwards of $400... The A and B services are basically a rip off but your car does need proper maint. Just follow the maint. schedule, most times you can just get an oil change plus whatever major service is needed. Don't fall for all of the other necessary "checks" that are included in B service for example, at the end of the day it is still just an oil change with multi-point inspection and air filter change.
