Which lights, 5000k or 8000k

Hi Guys,

I have been talking to AZN Optics and I am going to order myself some LED LIghts for my C300 as well as HID Lights,
What im wondering is which should i get, 5000k or 8000k. I usually dont like to order without seeing them for my own eyes..

This is what I like, I like the whiteness of the Lexus IS HID lights, and the Stock 2011 BMW 535 Lights.. Would you say those are more 5000k or 8000k?
I Want the brightest light I can get for the headlights, and then that will also depict which LEDs i get.

I dont like the Yellowish look of the stock C300 HID lights and headlights. thats what im trying to get away from.

Thanks!
Mike

5000k will be white enough without any of the yellowness of the stock hid. 8000k is more towards the blue side.

Want looks or able to see?
Around 4300K is the best visibility, pretty much bright white, 5000K has a hint of blue
8000K looks great but you get less visibility

Sort of weird how some of the responses don't answer his question :3. In terms of light output and lumens, you'll want to go with 5000k. The higher you go, the lower the light output/visibility. Most manufacturers like you mentioned use whiter lights (sometimes with that hint of yellow) which is closer to around 4300k. So 5000k, you would have a solid/clean white color. And that's what I'd vote for. 5000k Azn_Optics LEDs + 5000k HID kit.

I got 55w 8000k DDM kit. To be honest, it is a bit too blue for my taste. Keep in mind that 55w is supposed to make it whiter, so 35w would be even bluer. I would say get the 5000k kit. But I thought that they were 6000k LED?
