Question question about hid bubble.

i tried the search function, but it didnt show up what im looking for.

i have stock hid headlight, i think they are 35w right?
but i think they are not bright enough while i drive my c on the highway at nite.
so i decide to upgrade the bubble.

here is my question, can i buy a 55w hid bubble and put them on w/o error code?

or i have to buy some sort of adapter to make it error free?

or any suggestion on improving hid light?

cheers!

Stock HID are 35w D1S bulbs. No one makes 55w D1S bulbs because the OEM ballast is limited to 35w. I suggest you upgrade your fog lights to HID, that's what I did. You need to purchase a CANBUS or error free HID system, so it will not give you error codes or flicker on your car.
