hi was wondering if anyone knew if there were a way to be able to switch songs on my ipod through the dashboard rather than the steering wheel??? there are directional buttons but they dont work?? can you change the function to make them work???

if i spin the knob it only goes back and forth from sound, radio, etc.... it doesnt give me the option to change song selection.... any other suggestions??
