2011 c300 cd player question
hey guys i have a question, i know that the stock cd player plays MP3s, but , if i burn MP3s on a Blank DVD Data Disc, will the player read the mp3s on it? or i must burn to CD-Rs ? and will the cd player read folders if i burn the data disc with folders?

and if i put the mp3s on the DVD in different folders, i can see the folders in the 5 inch screen right and browse the folders?

I'm getting my c300 tomorrow, can someone try it out now if possible?
I dont want to be disappointed, it can't be that forest Jim is the only one that tried this out
Btw sagar350, u connect ur iPhone to the auxiliary or u got the iPod kit installed?

I have Command on my Merc. So I'm not sure for non command cars if they play DVD's at all. Check in your hand book or download one from MB web site.
For other people who have Command you can play Mp3 burnt on a DVD. I set up Folders on the burnt disk in different names so a can browse the folders on the Command Screen.

Oh I see, are u satisfied with only having the auxiliary? I'm leasing my new white c300 and I wanted to get the UMI package but they don't have a white on black c300 4matic with umi, umi is the navigation package with iPod kit and USB kit all in one, it's a little bummer that I'll only have auxiliary and cd player but oh well.
How do u hold ur iPhone in the cup holder though? Or u just put it there and not see the screen? And how do u close the glovebox with the cable sticking out? Is there like a hole for the cable to go through so that the glovebox can be closed?

The stock audio system will not read audio dvd's :

I would assume it would not recognize a data DVD either...
