Engineering Mode Navigation unit EQ

Anyone adjusted there EQ with a navigation unit. I got into the engineering mode there seems to be no EQ adjustment.

On a similar note, I heard somewhere that the 2011 w204 owners could not access engineering mode. Can any owners confirm or deny this?

I activated the backup camera's guidelines on my 2011 w204. This was a couple months ago, somewhere deep in a hidden and mostly-incomprehensible menu. I don't know whether this is the 'engineering' menu though.

Try holding down at the same time for 5 seconds: Hang-up (red), 1 and #. If the top Engineering Menu appears, yo are in.
Sometimes it is a different combination.

How can you find out the different combo? I tried the method posted several times and no luck at all.

Just want to make sure, press all of the above keys which are on radio, not from steering wheel.

@sagar350z: There may be some changes on some COMMAND systems, please check to see if this different access applies to your W204. Interesting information.

Hello everyone,

To enter engineering mode, we press 3 buttons at same time " hangup + 1 + # " this is okay.. But also there is second mode like pressing buttons " hang up + 4 + # " .. Does anyone remember which buttons exactly are?

Or i may be opened some functions from Engineering mode that's why i'm not accessing the second secret mode, i'm not sure..

Thanks for the reply. The thing i wasn't doing was i didn't wait for 5 seconds after i pressed the buttons. After i read your above statement i did. So thanks for the help.
@theinmoe: Yup, as you can see i have solved the problem. Thanks for the reply though.

Eventually, i have found the second menu.. After entering engineering mode press "hangup + 4 + #" buttons at the same time and wait 5 sec. You are going into second hidden menu..

Still no EQ in the second hidden menu.

There has to be a way to access an EQ or change the EQ settings, still digging...

Just checked myself and the only thing I could find is the 7.8 and 7.9 menu in the Engineering settings menu (hangup + 1 + #, then hangup + 4 + #). These are in the second page of the 7 menu from the secondary engineering settings menu. You can scroll up and down in the menus using 2 for up and 8 for down.

The only options I had was to reset the EQ and audio profile... I got scared and didn't do a thing.

I myself prefer a bright sound and the sound system is a little to mid-heavy for my tastes. I'm planning on the Infiniti speaker upgrade, but I'd probably be happy if I could just turn down the midrange a bit. Even with the treble setting at max my system still sounds like mud.
