hey guys, i got my phone connected to my c300 and i have a question, the ringone that the car rings when u recieve a call, can u change the ringtone to a different ringtone or the car only has one ringtone sound?

The ringtone in my 2009 C300 when connected to my iPhone is what ever the ringtone on the iPhone is set to. So it varies depending on who calls.

hmm thats interesting i never really payed attention to the ring.. i guess i'll have to try it out..

When I first got my car in 2008 I had it paired with a Samsung(don't remember the name) phone and it would just ring a standard ring. I later switched to a LG Lotus and that would announce the caller in a womans voice over the car "call from John Doe" what ever name you had stored in your phone book. This was fun because you could change the persons name in the phone book to something obscene/funny and the car would say it when they called.

Now I have a Galaxy S Android paired and the ring has gone back to the standard ring. I suspect the ring tone in the car must be phone specific.
