pre heat your oven to 150-200degrees. Turn off your oven and place your headlight assembly in the oven.Be aware that you need to place something in between the headlight and the metal grill to prevent melting. Also, heat and duration time will vary according to different applications.
Heat enough to melt the epoxy between the lens and housing.

I am not responsible for any melted headlights.

if it is epoxy, i dont think the heat will allow the seal to be broken. generally,
headlight butyl sealant is used. when heat is applied, it softens and conforms
its shape to seal the space, preventing water intrusion. butyl sealant is what
allows the headlight lens to separate when heat is applied.

recently, i've seen where the headlight manufacturer will forego butyl in favor
of epoxy. doing so makes it near impossible to disassemble w/o cutting.

so before you heat, you should attempt to identify the methodology in which
the headlight lens is affixed to the housing, e.g. sealant, glue, epoxy, etc.

if you don't have the ability to identify this, consider heading over to
HIDPLANET.COM and see if anyone there has performed mods to the 204
of the year you're attempting to separate.
