iPhone songs to 2011 C350
Hi guys,
Is there a way to dump all of the songs on my iPhone directly on to my car's system? I don't want to have to plug the phone in every time I get in the car.
I searched around the forums and it seems that in 2010 you couldn't burn a CD directly to the system, but I haven't been able to figure out whether that same limitation applies to iPhone's too.
While we're at it, is it still not possible to burn a CD directly, or did MB change that for the 2011 models?
Thanks for your help.

I have a 2011 and can tell you it's not do able. You can:
Burn a mp3/aac CD or DVD and play it (using folders to organize)
Or
Use a SDHC/SD card in a PCMCIA adapter with mp3/aac
I believe you can rip music CDs to the internal HD and that's about it. I have tried to do what you wanted and this is my experience above.
My best answer: buy a cheap used iPod on eBay and dedicate it to your car... Cheaper than the PCMCIA and SD you'll need. I bought a 4 gb nano used on eBay for around $60... It was scratched up a bit but it works just fine!

On MM equipped W204 with Command and nav, there is a hard drive which will accept audio and video into a special partition. I am unsure if it is possible to record input from the Aux or Bluetooth, but from the CD it is possible.

Hey Bill, I believe it's only raw audio CDs that can be ripped, am I wrong? I couldn't figure out a way to get digital music in compressed format already to the internal HD from CD/DVD or PCMCIA.
Researching the manual stated the same I think.

@mwaldron: That is interesting, cannot imagine that raw CDs would be compressed into MP3s on the fly into the HD. I only have my Audio20 manual, but will try and find an MM manual, as Mercedes states on their websites (US, England) that some Audio20 systems can accept the UMI interface (implying some MM capability).
So the question goes unresolved for the moment.
