I've read through this thread and I look to be the only one to have replied from the UK.

This style of mirror has been the standard type since about 2008 although we don't have the puddle lights. Also the overall shape of the mirror is slightly more squared off with an 'edge' if you like along the front top section. I can get some photos if anyone wants to see the difference.

We do have the other style of mirror with the bigger 'triangle' (sort of) shape indicator on the top half but they aren't as common.

holy **** thats my car!!! with the updated covers that i got off of ebay...so how am i hating when i bought and installed these lame covers???

and you are right i paid 500 for OEM updated side mirrors, which are 1000% better then the dumbo ears with covers...



so again how am i hating, when i bought these mirror covers???

Has anyone else dealt with the color that I have? (Sig photo) I really want to look into this but not sure what to do because it doesn't seem to be a common one they make. I plan to message some sellers to ask.

Let's not even begin with the name calling issue....but knowing now that you even had the mirrors yourself and then paid 500$ more for the new smaller ones doesn't even make sense...unless initially u wanted smaller mirror effect...but hey, hating doesn't bother me...I'm just pointing it out...at least I didn't say u offended me!

I have to agree with you Cali. The old mirrors are humongous. You got a good price on the new style ones. When I looked at doing the conversion here in the UK it was going to cost at least £700. How did you get them so cheap?

Also, I know there was talk around the w204 mirrors causing excessive wind noise, does this mod have enough design change to make that noise get any quieter? Just kind of curious. Looking for more justification for me to do the change

I agree with Cali on this one as well. I had a 2008 and the mirrors were huge. I would have replaced them with the newer style like Cali did if I still had the car. Changing out the covers only is like putting lipstick on a pig. You can dress it up but it is still a pig underneath. Just my opinion of course!

I kow own a 2010 and do not need to switch them out because I have the smaller size or it would have been on my list of stuff to do.

He didn't waste money to get the same look. You still have a large mirror with these covers, switching them out is the only way to fix that.

The DESIRED effect is a smaller better looking mirror.

Does anyone have a DIY guide on how to wire the puddle lights so they come on when the car is unlocked?

I have the 2012 model mirrors for my 08 w204 and really want to get the puddle lights working!

I know this thread is kinda old but I just want to warn people buying these mirrors. I bought the white ones and my driver side mirror DOES NOT WORK. The LED won't turn on. I connected it to the passenger side to see if it's maybe the car, but it doesn't turn on still while the passenger side mirror works perfectly fine.

How long have you had them? Perhaps they were not sealed correctly?

I just received them yesterday and installed them today. I looked at the driver mirror kit and nothing looks weird or out of the ordinary... I contacted Miracle Auto Design on ebay. I don't know if they have an actual email I can try too. I'm a bit disappointed by this.

the box should have a pack of wires that it came with.

Update on my broken LED Lamp: miracle auto design is sending me a new LED lamp to replace the faulty one. i'll post another update after its installed. despite the faulty led, they have beem easy to install (i didnt install the light on the bottom) and the company has been super quick on responding to emails and havent given me any real trouble yet

Hi, I just ordered a pair for my recently acquired '09 c300 4matic. Once the mirrors are off, are there larger pictures available on what to do next to replace the covers?

I checked Blue's page 3 pics but they are quite small and won't enlarge. If somebody has larger install pics that would be great. I don't care about the bottom light since I won't connect it.
